TSM May Develop Its Advanced 3nm Foundry In The US Instead Of Europe, According To Reuters

 TSMC said last year that it would build a semiconductor facility in Phoenix, Arizona, for 10-12 billion. Building a chip plant isn't a simple operation, either. It takes a long time. This chip facility will be used by TSMC to produce 5NC process chips.





A 3NM process chip plant will be built in the United States by TSMC in the future. The factory's construction will cost between 23 and 25 billion. It was previously reported that TSMC was exploring at locations in Europe for chip plants. Ten to fifteen years will be required.
